In 2001 Elisabeth started her career at Zentropa Film assisting Producer Ib Tardini on two Dogme films and Per Fly’s trilogy. From 2005-2007 she worked at Cosmo Film assisting on 3 seasons of ‘Anna Pihl’.

Since graduating from the National Danish Film School in 2011 Elisabeth has been line producing and producing feature films and one TV series in teams with other producers both high-end and low-budget projects. ‘Heavy Heads’ (a short) was competing at the BERLINALE in 2011.

From 2011-2013 Elisabeth worked at Fridthjof Film producing ‘Over the edge’ (feature), ‘All for Two’ (feature), ‘Somersault Factory’ (feature) and ‘Heartless’ (TV series). From 2013-2015 Elisabeth worked at Miso Film producing ‘Iqbal & The Secret Recipe’ (feature). From 2016-2018 she lived in Melbourne, Australia, where she worked on ‘Undertow’ (feature) and taught the students at AFTRS in Sydney and VCA in Melbourne.

Cathrine Skotte

Cathrine joined Apple Tree Productions in 2020 as Producer, currently focusing on TV-series development and financing. Cathrine has previously worked in the documentary department in the Danish Broadcast Corporation DR, and since at Meta Film and SAM Productions where she amongst other produced TV-series for Viaplay, Discovery and DR.

Cathrine holds a Master of Arts in Film and Media Studies from the University of Copenhagen specialising in Nordic co-productions.

Rikke Rolver Elk

Rikke graduated from the University of Copenhagen in 2019 with a master’s degree in Film and Media Studies specialising in the financial strategies of Danish drama series. During her studies Rikke worked as a freelance production manager on several short format productions.

Rikke has previously worked as a producer assistant at Nimbus Film, The Danish Film School and Kunde & Co., before joining the team at Apple Tree Productions in 2020.

Lars Hermann

Lars worked for Maersk for ten years before attending the National Film School of Denmark, from which he graduated as a producer in 1995. He has since then produced films and held a number of management positions in the film business including that of CEO of regional film fund FilmFyn, where he invested in Susanne Bier’s “In a Better World”, which won a Golden Globe and the Academy Award for best foreign language film in 2011. As a producer, he won the Swedish Guldbagga in 2001 for Jan Troell´s “As White as in Snow”. Before Apple Tree Productions, Lars was deputy head of drama for DR Drama. Lars is in charge of operations.

Dorthe Riis Lauridsen

Dorthe Riis has worked with fiction for more than 10 years. Before joining Apple Tree Productions she worked as a producer at DR Drama, where she developed and produced drama content in all genres for different platforms such as TV, podcast and web. Dorthe has among others produced the popular christmas comedy show ‘Rytteriets jul’ and the successful children series ‘The Girl with the Yellow Helmet’. At Apple Tree Dorthe has among other productions produced the series ‘Equinox’ for Netflix. Dorthe has a master degree in Dramaturgy from the university of Aarhus.

Piv is behind some of the biggest Danish TV series successes in the past 15 years. She worked as a producer at DR and produced the iEmmy award winning series, Nikolaj and Julie, and the internationally acclaimed The Killing, season I-III.Piv was Executive Producer of The Bridge, producer by Nimbus Film for DR, and 1864 produced by Miso Film for DR.
